As part of our commitment to your Privacy, Global Team Collaborative will review and from time-to-time revise this policy to reflect changes to ensure your Privacy is protected.  The Privacy Policy applies to interactions with Global Team Collaborative’s website, email communications, services provided, and purchases made through the website. Clients who receive products and services from Global Team Collaborative will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the Global Team Collaborative Privacy Policy.

How We Collect Personal Information

We collect contact Information, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, credentials, organization, and position. We also collect relevant information about your team if you belong to one, including team name, focus, sector, language, email, phone, website as well as your role on the team.

The purpose of collecting personal information includes: to provide requested products and services and related and non-related promotional communications; to provide requested information and invoices for services or products purchased; to provide a customized experience; to promote our products and services; for service delivery improvements; for the purpose of building the directory for members.

 

How We Collect Payments

We use Stripe, a trusted third-party payment provider, to handle all online transactions securely. When you make a purchase, your credit card or banking information is processed directly by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Global Team Collaborative does not store or have access to your full payment details, including your credit card number or banking information. Only necessary transaction details, such as the transaction ID, may be retained for record-keeping purposes.

As part of this process your personal information may be transferred outside of your province and/or Canada for secure processing and storage by Stripe, our authorized payment service provider.

 

How We Use Non-Personal Information

Our site’s operating system may automatically record some general information about your visit, such as: the Internet domain for your Internet service provider; the date and time you visit our site and the web pages that you visit on our site, along with the address of the previous website you were visiting, if you linked to us from another web site. We use this information for statistical analysis to help us make our site more useful to users. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this data.

You will not receive marketing e-mail from the Global Team Collaborative unless you have consented to receive it.

Global Team Collaborative may use e-mail as a way to share information (for example, to promote upcoming events, including webinars). Global Team Collaborative does not send ‘spam’ (unsolicited marketing e-mails). When you sign up as a member or sign up for services offered by Global Team Collaborative you will be asked to share your email address.  If you agree to receive e-mail communications from us, every e-mail message we send you will include options for unsubscribing should you wish to remove your contact information for future email communications. If at any time you decide you do not want to receive marketing e-mail from us, simply let us know and we will remove your name and e-mail address from our marketing lists. We will do the same with your mailing address and telephone number on request.

Personal information is not shared outside of the Global Team Collaborative unless:

  • you have consented;
  • we are permitted or required to do so by law;
  • we have engaged an authorized service provider to carry out services on our behalf. Personal information may be transferred outside of your province and/or outside of Canada for processing or storage.

This policy discloses the privacy practices for the Global Team Collaborative website. However, our site contains links to other sites.
